OA for Nordic arts and humanities – part II

As we reported in May 07, the Copenhagen University Library was planning to construct a technical infrastructure permitting Open Access to research in the Nordic countries within the arts and humanities. This archive – called hprints – now has a URL (www.hprints.org) and a hprints blog (www.hprints.info) (thanks to Peter Suber). The aim of the archive is to enhance visibility of the Nordic arts and humanities research area. The archive will primarily contain research e-prints in the form of preprints, reprints, working papers, book chapters, conference reports, invited lecture manuscripts etc.

Consortium members are, apart from the Royal Library, the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, Lund University, Sweden, University of Oslo, Norway, and Museum Tusculanum Press, Denmark. The project is sponsored by Nordbib as part of its financing programme (Work Package 2: Focus area on Content and Accessibility).
